If you’re looking for an exceptional mountaintop dining experience with great food and breathtaking views, you’ll love The Summit Restaurant & Bar. Located in the Masthope Mountain Lodge (built in 2005), The Summit is known for its warm and welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and of course — the food! The restaurant is open year round where you can enjoy some of the finest dining in Pike County. Residents of Masthope Mountain Community have convenient access to The Summit, where they can enjoy great food and spirits while taking in the spectacular view over the Delaware River. The view is even more spectacular outdoors!
Spring Hours at the Summit Restaurant
Monday – Wednesday – Closed
Thursday 4 pm – 11 pm (kitchen closes at 9 pm)
Friday 4 pm – 12 am (kitchen closes at 9 pm)
Saturday 11 am – 12 am (kitchen closes at 10 pm)
Sunday 11am – 10pm (kitchen closes at 8pm)
Happy Hour at The Summit during the spring hours is hosted Thursday and Friday from 5:00 – 7:00. Every Thursday is Masthope Night where residents show their Masthope ID and receive 15% off their food. On Friday and Saturday is the Prime Rib special starting at 4 pm.
On Sundays, Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers are only $5.00 dollars and steamed clams (yum) are $6 per order, while supplies last. Saturday, March 24th is the Easter Lunch and Egg Hunt starting at 11 am with lunch served at 11:30 am. You must sign up at the P.O.C. For more info, here’s a number you can call: 570-685-4790.
The Summit also has a spacious banquet room on the top floor of the restaurant and will even host your wedding ceremony — offering several banquet and wedding packages tailored to meet your individual needs and budget.

Directions
From Hawley:
- Take PA 590 East for approx. 7 miles.
- Turn left at the Cuckoo’s Nest Restaurant and travel three miles on Westcolang Rd.
- At the four-way stop, turn left on Karl Hope Blvd. into Masthope Mountain Community.
- Summit Restaurant is located at the end of Karl Hope Blvd.
From Milford:
- Take Route 6 West for approx. 12 miles to the intersection of Route 6 and PA 434.
- Turn right onto PA 434
- At “Y” bear left onto PA 590 West.
- Follow PA 590 to the town of Lackawaxen.
- Turn right after crossing the first bridge onto Masthope Plank Rd.
- At “T” turn left and go one mile to top of the hill.
- At the 4-way stop, turn right onto Karl Hope Blvd. in Masthope Mountain Community.
- Summit Restaurant is located at the end of Karl Hope Blvd.
